so originally those were not really strong enough to work with a build like yours... people didnt have calibration issues but they would slam shut and cause reduced engine power mode. I had heard that they were starting to make them with the LS2 motors to try and fix that problem, but I was unable to get ahold of anyone there to confirm that (I didnt try all that hard...). If you are going to try one I would make a few calls first and see what you can find. It would be worth your while. Oh... and report back lol

Are you still having trouble with the TPIS?

The last I checked into it I couldnt get confirmation either, but based on what I can find and see they are still using the LS3 motor.

Thanks for that info - I had no idea there was that kind of issue with them! I was hoping to get away with spending a little less money there, but looks like that's not gonna happen. I just called scogg & dickie parts and was informed they still are using the LS3 motor, so I won't be taking a chance with the NW.

I bought my TPIS from Ray probably like 8+ months ago and sent it back because it apparently was calibrated improperly and causing my truck to go into limp mode. Since then, the dude from Torque Rush told me he helped Ray come up with a calibration device so the 102's will work with their x-link. Then I talked to Ray last weekend and he only wants like 90 bones to calibrate one. Looks like I may be going back to the TPIS if he will guarantee it works with my setup.

I built the diagnostic unit because of all the issues people were having with 102s. Particularly on the new cars. No X-Link is used on those because the cars were originally equipped with LS3 90s.

Yeah, thanks for responding to my email last week Grant. I went ahead and ordered another TPIS from Ray a few days ago, so he's going to use your unit to make sure everything is within GM specs. this time. Hopefully I'll see some improvement over my 90 once I start pushing 15 psi or so.

I see on your sig. where you're running twin 1900's! I'd love to see that - got any pics?

Thanks Pat. LMFAO...Holy ****, that's so awesome!! All I can say is WOW! ...beautiful work too!

Is that 4" Spectre intake tubing? ...it looks larger than that. I used the 4" Spectre and had a 45 and 22 welded together - can anyone tell if that's the same diameter as mine? I'm also in the market for a rubber coupling to connect my intake to the 102 if anyone knows. Thanks!

Thanks to Rick at Trick Performance for fabbing my twin blower intake.

Yes, it is 4" Spectre tubing. I was messing around with the throttle locations to minimize hood height. So I don't have it welded permanently in any particular configuration. Couplers are all Spectre as well.
