The 60ft isnt just about your trans gears, I pulled a 1.58 with stock 80E gears and 12psi and I am even heavier then you are. Allot has to do with the tune and how timing and fuel ramp in on launch also. BTW that was with a 31.2" tire.

That's a great 60'. Would you mind posting up that time slip? I'd like to compare my 12.00 1.83 60' to your 11.9 1.58 60' ...thanks

Maybe I'm missing something, your sig says 14psi 11.9

Time in sig was at 12 psi, and in 2013. Havent been to track since. Not sure if I have that slip or not, it wasn't a full pass as I was having issues with my LS3 TB sucking closed. I have a go Pro of that run and you can see it shut down at around 1/8m. Two members of this site were there with me, Tim Z and Mark Buck. The 11.9 run was my only full pass and was straight off a 1.5hr drive there, I didnt have my limit straps tightened either, after that pass I didnt get another pass in that made it past 1/8m.

If you look closely you can see the Reduced Engine Power in message center.

Here is a 1.68 slip, if I can find the others Ill post them but not sure I still have them as they were not even full 1/8 passes.

I dont lock my converter at WO, actually my OS wont allow me so my MPH is on the low side for the time. You are making good power all you need is some fine tuning and some basic stuff. I would be willing to bet that you could knock off close to .5sec without ever touching the trans and engine. I have improved times quite a bit in mine with fine tweaks here and there, throwing parts at it will work but isnt required. Mine ran faster passes with the 4L80E then with the 4L65E and nothing was changed. I have fun playing with my setup and seeing where I can gain, If I was worried about just times I would slap a 2.8 pulley on it and let it eat. I like to drive it and tune and screw around, honestly I rarely go to the track.

That sucks! That's why I was afraid to run the NW 102 after I found out they're still using LS3 motors. If you pulled a 1.58 60, you should have run low 11's

If you can, you should try to make it to the track this spring to see who's fastest between the 3 of us

I wish, but doubt it. On the 11.9 pass it sucked the throttle closed also but not enough to hit REP. In my HPT scan you can see the TPS close. I think on that day at the track if I got a full pass other then the first I could have got a 11.7 out of it. As it sits now, I am not sure. I plan to go to the track this fall.

instead of driving this time, you should look into renting a trailer and pulling it down with your new ride. Last fall I rented a sweet 21' tilt bed for only like 50 bones - it's about the same 1.5 hr drive for me too to Heartland Park from my house

I will not trailer my street truck to the track, it has to run its times off the drive or I don't count it. That's always been my thing, street form at the track.

I didn't even consider that. The reason I will tow mine up from now on is not only so I don't rack up the miles on it but also because I don't want to risk something breaking on it and then being stranded 1.5 hrs. from home. Anything could happen when pushing 15psi through a stock engine
