Got the Speedsturr ordered from ******** today! They will be shipping it directly to Mike Lavallee of Killer Paint so he can continue his artwork onto the wing and possibly up the entire top of the cover...just depends on how much cha ching he's wanting for that. Last time I spoke with him back in January, he quoted me 3800 bones but you know how "Artists" prices go up! *******'s told me it would take about 3-1/2 weeks to fabricate and paint the lid, then another couple of weeks for Mike to paint the flames...I'm guessing about 8 weeks before I have the cover.

Also took the truck to Firestone last Saturday and had them pull all the wheels off so they could take specific measurements required for the "Wheel Fitment" form from Intro. - emailed that to them over the weekend and will get the rims ordered as soon as they call me back. Those are running 8 to 10 weeks to fabricate and ship

AND got the tracking # for the Maggie - it is supposed to be delivered this Thursday the 5th!!

ARH headers are still being fabricated and may not ship out until next week

Got the Intros ordered today! Also had Geoff Skinner from EPS spec out a custom grind for me and this build. To me it's like trying to read Chinese and I have no idea what any of this means, but here's what he came up with...

Duration @ .050" Intake 230 degrees, Exhaust 242 degrees

Lift w/ 1.7 ratio rockers: Intake .604", Exhaust .604"

Lobe Separation: 116 degrees

Intake Centerline: 113 degrees

Thing is gonna sound bad ***.

I think it's gonna be great actually. Your converter is on the looser side so it will compliment that well. As long as you throw enough boost at it it's going to be insane from start to finish.

How long till heads and cam you think??

lol, so I guess those specs look good? Thanks for the heads up with Geoff too, I can tell just by talking to him he's an articulate guy and knows his ****. One thing though, I told him to spec it for a 2800 stall because I'm probably going to end up swapping out this one. ...you think it would work well with the one that's in it now?

I plan on ordering the heads, cam, etc. in July and am hoping to have the whole build finished sometime in August or maybe sooner.

oh yeah, I told him I'd be somewhere in the 12 to 15psi range too.

Yea it's gonna be pretty intense lol.

And Geoff is a great guy. Glad you liked him.

It's a big, honkin, bad *** cam. There's no 2 ways about it. But everything about your build is. Heads are top notch, 80e to handle the power, 2300 to make the power... It's all there. It's going to run like a raped ape.

I would wait to see how the converter does with boost. Right now it's not too loose from what I saw in your scans. See what 8psi does to it and go from there.

Btw not sure if I saw it or not, but add meth to that list unless you plan to run on e85. Call Julio at alky control. From what I've seen on here he's the guy and that's the brand... Only one that will allow for 100% meth.

So you don't think that cam is too big?

Yeah, the "list" can be never ending and meth will probably be in the cards, along with the Maggie spacer, tru trac rear, etc. etc. etc. I'm probably going to need to catch my breath at some point because those intros will look like crap with the stock brakes...looking into some baers now powder coated blue to match the graphics - that's another 3k!
