Thought it would be a good idea to be able to run both types of fuel just in case I was in an area that didn't have the e85

So how do you set that up with your ecm?

I honestly don't have a clue. Zippy told me what parts to buy, I bought them and I'm having a GM Master Tech install everything - fuel system, sensor and brakes. There is a 3 pin F connector that runs from the sensor to the ECM but that's about all I know. Sorry I couldn't be more help man

Hmm, I may have to look into that. Wasn't aware our ecm could even support it.

You just flash in a flex fuel OS. They have built in ethanol tables.

It can even be done on 99-02, however there is no custom operating system (2bar+) for support on efi live Or I would have done it long ago. Ethanol sensor is badass.

I thought with EFI Live, if you do the 02+ OS upgrade you could run the COS stuff?

This says Gen III second section down.

I think he may be talking about it's not available if you're running a Speed Density tune.

There's no COS that supports flex fuel for 99-02. So no way to run a 2 bar+ tune. There is an OS for 1 bar MAF so anyone n/a 99-02 could add the flex fuel sensor and have the pcm fully control fueling. But n/a theres no need for ethanol, defeats the purpose. I do believe hp tuners has a custom os that supports flex fuel on 02 os, but im not buying their soft/hardware to get it.

Ah I gotcha. I misunderstood what you were trying to do. What you're saying is there's no way to be able to switch to and from E85 without having to retune for it each time?
