I figured fuggit, I might as well get the 102mm since I'm already spending this much $. I ordered a TPIS LS2 102mm from Supersub and a spacer to bolt up to the inlet of the Maggie so the blade can open properly.

Yeah, that was my very first run too when it happened...I think my converter's getting ready to **** the bed! Also a few days ago - and this will be the third time now - I shift into drive from a dead stop and the truck shudders and feels like the converter's not engaging.

Well that'll take care of it.
You really need to stop locking it in 2nd gear. And when you shift into drive its not the converter thats engaging... its the trans. Thats first gear that needs to engage. Is it definitely a shudder from the trans or is it your engine that stumbles?

Also, I specifically told Zippy not to lock up the converter at WOT when I sent him the request for a re-tune on the Maggie and efans. But later I sent him a request to firm up the 1 -2 shift because it was really soft, so he sent me another update...you're saying he has it locking in the 1 - 2 now? Even if it is, it still doesn't hit very hard there.

How much is the spacer? Maybe worth skipping that and just saving your money for the 102mm inlet instead. Run the 78mm TB in the mean time. Its far from a restriction at this point...

So I just got off the phone with a dude named Garrett from Magnuson's hot rod dept. - he said they don't make a 102mm inlet but I could simply hog out the inlet myself or have someone do it for me. THEN I called Supersub and he said the same thing that he could do it or I could do it with the inlet still on the supercharger IF proper precautions were taken to avoid getting metal shavings inside the blower, or just take off the inlet and do it that way. The spacer he sells is like 86$ and he said to use that as a template if that's the route I wanted to go!

For a stock cam you are overspinning it, anything higher then 6K with stock cam is a waste. Your injectors are maxed and you have to get a retune to eliminate the WO lock ASAP.
