John you are an idiot. The TFS heads have a thicker deck and in as-cast form flow well within what the OP wants to use, but having the thicker deck will hold the gaskets down better udner higher cylinder pressures thus allowing him to really crank up the boost if wanted.
Im not quite sure what youre referring to about cast heads being bad, but stock GM heads are cast but with much worse quality control than the TFS heads.

Ok well i pulled the heads off and we couldnt find anything wrong with the gasket or motor. Honestly i dont understand what happened. So my wife says to me "why dont you just build a motor while its all torn down"? Of course what man will argue that soooooo... i went to the local perfromance shop where my buddy Brett builds very fast F-bodies. I told him my goals and desires for the truck and this is what im gonna build.
370ci Iron block
-Comp Sprayed99 grind cam (still undecided about changing cams)
-TSP 2.5 6.0 heads (which i believe is PRC)
AFA texas speed is concerned i dont care for them but this guy gets a discount and fowarded the savings to me. TSP will NOT be assembling the motor.
Brett is a known builder and has some fast cars running around and he is honest
long block is gonna cost me 5100 bucks including everthing

A sprayed99 cam? So is Danny picking it out?
Under heads, what's PRC?
I'm not sure, but IIRC, TSP was the co. that when I was doing another project, I inquired about a FAST system. A guy quoted me a screamin deal. So I called later that day or 1st thing next day. I said, is that the sequential not the batch fire? (I was being quoted low, & I knew it, just wanted to see what's what. Cause I was gonna hop on it w/. both feet)
After that, they wouldn't return my calls or the main guy wouldn't talk to me. Always too busy to tall to me. So I went elsewhere.
Congrats on build!
