no updates really. the lvl7 60e is sitting on the back burner until i buy the trans brake...and the trans brake is on the back burner until i get the silverado repairs finished (not sure what paint will cost). the silvarado isnt finished because i just dont havent had the time. i'm going to try to get an estimate on painting the bed this saturday. the lack of garage space also sucks. i'd like to pull the body off of the frame, but i do not have anywhere to put the bed/body once removed. my HOA and neighbors would **** a brick if i left a bare frame in the driveway for a week. i may have found a good deal on a ford 8.8 rear end. factory with 4.10 gears and a locker along with all of the brakes. the problem is it is in austin and i'm in houston.

still waiting on my headers. 2 months to get headers is crazy to me.

Just found this build thread. Pretty cool, sucks that you have very little room to work with though.

i could always pull the silverado out into the driveway for a couple months and have plenty of room, but that's not happening.

well i got that ford 8.8 axle out of austin. cody was nice enough to swing by and pick it up and pay for it on his way to houston from austin.

factory LSD, 4.10 gears and 31 spline axles. also comes with disk brakes and all that fun stuff to get rid of the drums out back. picked it up for 325 out the door. i'll probably step it up to a 4.56 in the future but 4.10 is good for now and helps w. the budget. best part is it's suposedly a direct swap to the s10. i'll just need to change the back wheels to a different back spacing.
