Forgot to mention, 6 cowl hoods suck on these trucks. cant get the hood open far enough to get your body under without smashing the cowl into the windshield or taking it off everytime you tinker with it. Just my $.02

4" it is then. i wouldnt be totally against a pin on hood. the hood and paint is WAY in the future though. i have a drivetrain to work out first.

Nice man! Im gonna do a V8 swap on my s10 as well someday so Ill be watching. Interested to see what is involved with the swap. Mine is an 01 but im sure its pretty damn close to the same.

I was thinking of an L92/TH400 for me personally but your LS2/4L80 combo sounds nice as well!

NICE...There was a S10 in pasadena with a H/C 6.0 that ran a 11.6@115 N/A with 3.42s 2nd time out so i can see this being a fun project

less weight and a great hooking platform is what i'm excited about! i'd like to be able to trap around 115 n/a on the stock heads.
