I hope so. progress has been slow lately. went hunting last weekend and planning to go to san antonio this weekend for some of my wife's business stuff. my cowl hood came in today, and my fuel pump is due tomorrow. i didnt like the DJM drop blocks (surprise!). got some calvert drop blocks that look NICE. the starter is wired, but i get a HUGE voltage drop when i hit the ignition. i assume it is because i'm running jumper cables from my avalon to the distribution block. guess it's time to buy a battery for this thing and see if that cures my voltage issue. my connections are only as good as that tooth touching the distribution block from the jumper cable. i'm guessing it's like pinching a water hose and expecting full juice from it. maybe i'll install the drop blocks and put the bed back on today. i just want the other half of my garage back.

lol @ my cartoon hood. i didnt expect it to look this big....tiny hood with a 4" cowl. hopefully it looks better on the truck than hanging on the wall. too late to change my mind now. should have gotten the 2" cowl. VERY happy with the condition of the hood from harwood. if my truck was black, i wouldnt even bother painting it.

got 28" tires for the rear and 26" runners for the front. 28" is decently beefy on a s10.
the more this truck is around, the more red is growing on me. i've considered going hotrod black, magnetic gray, the blue color that comes on mazda cars....but the idea of having to paint the door jambs and under hood sounds like a lot of work (and money). here is the look i'm going for but with weld drag lights instead of these ugly wheels.

Painting the door jams and all the other thats required for a color change was a major pain. And the finish on those hoods look pretty good but let them sit in the sun a short time and it would be grey lol. Project looks like it coming along great kepp at it get it on the road.

Man, I like the look of that S/10 and the stance. It would look better with drag lites. Your S/10 is going to look killer when you get it painted and together. Most the harwood hoods I have seen have been nice. It is goodmark and keystone hood that you have to prime and block 15 times. I can't wait to see a video of it running man.
