how are those fans working out? i can't think of any new parts that i would be buying except for maybe some pac or patriot dual springs. and ofcourse the aftermarket engine/trans mounts and headers.

found a good deal on a new oil pan kit. comes from a hummer and gives enough clearance to where i dont need to cut my crossmember. PN# 19212593. comes with the pan, dipstick/dipstick tube, windage tray, pick up tube, gaskets and bolts. 132 shipped.

also trying to work a deal on a used MSD 6012 ignition and air cleaner. hopefully we can come to an agreement. this long term project is happening a little faster than i planned lol.

as for the transmission, i think phantom talked me into a full manual valve body 80e. a buddy at the local dealership has a 80e core in and i think they want around 150 for it. time to learn how to rebuild a transmission myself! it's a good skill to have, but i HATE HATE HATE the smell/texture/taste of burnt trans fluid (somehow i always end up with it in my mouth? i guess i touch my face too much.

There is a joke to be made in the last couple posts.........LOL

If I had the equipment to take out the transmission at my house I would love to learn how to rebuild one....

Badass project you got yourself into Stew. That cam is going to work great, mine is not much bigger than that. If you need any help with the msd box just holler.
