Well, I just made a liar out of myself... I sat there on my posting about my s-10 and said I did NOT want to read through 45 pages of a build.

It took me OVER 2 1/2 hours to do it...

But, I got more done in 3 1/2 months that you have in a year and a half.. LOL And now, I am changing over to carb and a bunch more stuff.

yeah i know i'm slow IIRC, you ran a 9.5 in the eighth mile...i'm shooting for 9.5 in the 1/4. i guess it could have easily been slapped together with stock parts and on the street. the budget on this project went a little crazy and i'm trying to finish it the way i want in the first shot this time around without blowing parts every which way on my first launch.

Stew...

Something I should have known, but the '07 came with an LS2 and not an LS3...

And I hope your neighborhood HOA doesn't get easily bent.

Yes I am off work for a hurt back, but right now a blizzard has come through and it is cold as hell out there.

Did I do my project to his level?? HELL NO

And my finances were MAYBE $3500 for everything I have done. Which is why I have to change stuff and fix **** I got screwed over on. If I had his income level, I would be doing what he is doing. But I don't. So oh well.

as for time to spend on it, I drive a truck for a living, which means MOST of the time I have MAYBE 36-48 hours to work on my truck in my back yard in Mosquitoville, AR.. These bastards around here have clearance lights and a control tower in the top of our damn oak tree!!!

No shop, barely enough tools to get by, no welder.. Go figure... A sawzall and cutoff wheel were my best friends for a while.
