If I had to guess, I would say stopped up pump strainer and maybe cracked feed line. That many miles those thin little plastics get a lot of ups and downs on pressure. And this way here you get the sending unit and everything in one shot. Or I can send you the pump out of my tank and you can swap it into your truck. Since I am going carb and my pump that is in the tank is EFI high pressure, 30-100 psi.

i found a steal of a deal today. found a bone stock quick fuel 850 with annular boosters used. it's only 2.5 years old and has never been cracked open. it's not as shiney as the ones on their site, but i figure as long as the annodized parts look good, a tumbler will make all of the aluminum nice and perfect again. this carb lists new for $828. i'm going to look at it for $220. woot! i'll probably swap the annular boosters for dogleg once i get the nitrous installed, but the throttle response of this thing N/A is going to be FUN to play with. maybe i'll start the s10 again tonight to remind the neighbors what they're in for.

**** NO! hooked up the carb and the front squirters don't squirt. the diaphram was fine. i couldnt get the truck to start and gave up after 30 seconds. get out of the truck and the carb was DUMPING fuel in my intake. it needs to be gone through but i got it on a good deal.

the carb has some oxidation on the aluminum too. i called up quick fuel and they will media blast the oxidation on all aluminum, tumble polish the aluminum and do a complete rebuild back to stock for $250. i'll have a total of $500 into a fresh carb that goes for a little over 700 on summit racing.

a buddy of mine happens to be the carb mod over at tech. zane is coming to my house soon and bringing his laptop to set up a baseline tune. he is bringing his 750 carb that's dialed in pretty good for his lq4 t-rex combo. we will see how it works on mine. i need to get the trans hooked up and a few odds and ends bolted down so we can take it for some spirited driving

here is my new carb.
