talked to trick-flow today. my heads had a 4 digit stamp on it and they were able to pull up everything about my heads.

the springs are trick-flow that are made by PAC for their after market castings. the heads were purchased new from vengeance in 2006 which tells me these springs should have been replaced a long time ago.

i ordered up the same spring as a replacement and also have a new spring compressor on the way. the crane compressor that charlie let me borrow took some time to make it work with the aftermarket casting. the crane tool works amazing for stock castings though.

i have scope sitting next to me at the desk and tonight is the moment of truth. does the motor need to be pulled or not :(

Hopefully the secondary spring kept too much from going on besides few little dings, if that.

Looks like i dodged a bullet. Cant find any marks in the piston. The exhaust valve spring was so bad that the valve wouldnt even close all the way. Put 80psi to that cylinder and it seals fine. Time for new springs and valve springs.
