What are the full specs on the 243s? Just wondering if that will be your choke point with the larger cube motor, cam and exhaust you have.

craig gallant of GTP went over my patriot stage 2 heads. he basically reworked every part of the heads.

ferrea 2.02/1.57 valves
bronze valve guides
145/150 spring pressure
231cc intake ports
84cc exhaust ports
63.5cc combustion chamber
matched chamber to 4" bore
micro-polished combustion chamber and exhaust chamber.

below are the flow numbers. exhaust side was done WITHOUT a pipe. take the numbers for what they are worth. the guy who did my heads said the flow sheet is worth wiping your butt with in most cases. he believes in better velocity than flow numbers. alot like AFR preaches. he was talking more about how the flow sounded than the numbers lol.

LIFT ----- INTAKE ------Exhaust
.0500-----35.00---------26.7
.1000-----69.90---------53.3
.1500-----104.9---------80.0
.2000-----139.9---------106.6
.2500-----170.3---------134.7
.3000-----200.7---------162.7
.3500-----224.5---------175.6
.4000-----248.4---------188.5
.4500-----266.9---------195.1
.5000-----282.0---------201.6
.5500-----294.6---------207.0
.6000-----306.1---------212.6
.6500-----313.5---------218.4
.7000-----311.7---------220.2

average---262.6---------189.7

Nice set of heads. Based on flow numbers and port size, they seem to be on par with several reputable porter's 'stage3' offerings. I am sure they will do great. I'm looking forward to seeing what teh ole ext cab will do when its dialed in with the new heart.
