That's kinda how I felt reading it, thought maybe you were bipolar.

We've all been there... Horsepower can be a fickle bitch. It makes us all question our motives from time to time. I think the current topic in this thread is a perfect example of that.

If I had the money, I'd do a test on an engine dyno with the various blowers, and adding variables such as tensioner strenght, pulley size, rib count and maybe even belt brand. I'd put a hall sensor on each pulley and data log blower rpm to compare with engine rpm over a wide variety of combinations. Can you imagine the data that could be obtained with a few days testing that? I'm an advocate of providing tech support on all these forums from my own learning experiences, but a test like that could provided data that I'd want to keep proprietary and share with only paying customers........or would that make me a dick? lol

Sounds good, but nobody would pay for it. That falls into the good to know category, but no one really cares. They will keep adding more ribs, heavier tensioners, and cog drives until their problems go away, regardless of the data behind it.

If you do ever do that, I would be happy to help with the data reduction part

We're all addicts who cant control ourselves.

I'm still trying to find the vein and it's giving me enough time to choose which drug will be perfect...

I totally agree, but it would be nice info for helping someone to spec a kit and just get it right the first time instead of dicking with **** trying to get it to work. I'll certainly let your spreadsheet data reduction addiction get in on the action. lol

This is interesting. It is the first time I have seen the -94 series in action. I believe they had the same pulley on them and the rest of the combo was untouched.

Here is the combo:
This is my f1a-94 365ci dyno vs my 365ci f1a (old version) dyno. I just think the f1a94 has big potential on a larger ci motor

It would be nice to know the whole combo. I think knowing how the blower behaves it should be easy to spec a cam to help mid and allow for massive airflow. It would allow for more blower RPM getting it into its sweet spot even faster.
