Buy them from racetronix and that is what they're called. Get them from Home Depot and they are PEX.

They're both the same thing Oetiker/PEX. Racetronix isn't the only place to call them oetiker clamps.

I thought PEX was the type of tubing, kind of like flexible PVC, that is used a lot on house water lines.

In home depot theyre pex clamps get the 3/8". True name Oetiker

OK you all convinced me... damn it.

I pulled the bucket out again last night and started to re do it all. Using the plastic flex hose and the PEX clamps. I couldn't reach in to get a PEX clamp on the factory send, which is now my return, so I used a worm clamp up there. It wont cut the plastic though.

My one last struggle is going to be getting the damn hose over the brass fitting i'm using for the bottom of the return.
