Well here we go again...

boost enrichment, have to be WAY more careful (IMO) with the VE, and timing... its way more likely to go pop under boost than N/A... the small amount of turbo tuning I've done has really been all fuel, fuel, and fuel tuning....
idle tuning is pretty much the same IMO

Just trying to figure out the tuning aspect when I get to that point.....since there seems to be no one within a 500 mile radius of here capable of tuning it (that I'd trust). Figure I'll put a 2k rev limiter on it, and figure it out then lol.
When is this thing gonna be running fo real? (not on jackstands)

I'll be finishing it up tomorrow... resetting pinion angle, and going over rear suspension tightening everything again, gotta adjust my shifter cable, change the oil, look everything over again, top off fluids, etc... oh yeah, gotta put the bed back on too I'll probably sleep better tonight knowing that this thing ran today and ran very well...
if my freaking segment swap EVER gets back, it'll be on the road....

I have no idea, Ive never had mine on the dyno... but I'm going to break it in on 6psi (wastegate) then run 10 for my street setup, and eventually look at around 15-17 for my track use.... probably 15, maybe 17-18 for a glory run or something... I DO know, that with my 5.3/custom cam/70mm setup I made 460/517... stock heads, compression, 6psi, no meth or nitrous... I'd think this motor on the same boost would be 50hp more??? this turbos way more efficient, WAY better heads, more cubes, different piping etc.... I think it would go.... I dont think north of 700 is all to ambitious for this setup on high boost and safe tuning....
$2199 isnt bad, depending on the parts used. The good thing about these 5.7L motors is that blocks are EVERYWHERE, instead of finding a good 6L block, any 4.8/5.3 block will work unless its just blown all to hell...

Yep, spot on, I can't find any cheap 6.0s. Yet everywhere i look there are 4.8/5.3s dirt cheap. Actually I threw my 150k 4.8 away in a junkyard. running perfect but it was in the bed of my truck and I couldn't be driving around with it back there forever. Wish I kept it now even just for the block. More than anything I'd be worried about stepping down to a 347 from a 364 concerning throttle response and highway cruising power. But then again, I dont even know if it would make a difference. Never experienced anything other than the 293 and 364.
