So the few first weeks of driving i was having defueling at higher rpms like on the highway, the lift pump just wouldn't cut it even a new one. i ended up bypassing it and running an in tank efi pump and regulating it down to 17 psi and it works great can dump smoke at any speed with plenty of torque, fuel pressure never drops below 7 psi even at wot.

this gauge is the ****. nevermind the position its in now just temporary

Bilsteins keep it pretty steady for the amount of weight up front going 70 down the highway feels better then the factory IFS, although has some body roll around turns i think because i refuse to run a sway bar.
and oh yea these things have 16 inch travel if i remember[IMG][/IMG]

This shifter makes these cupholders and center seat worthless. i'm thinking of just taking it out or moving it back a few inches? need some thoughts on this one.

still havn't gotten the wiring issue sorted out, the ecu has no idea what gear to think its in so its screwing up the buffering system with the temp/fuel only when i plug the crank sensor in for the tach both of those gauges die.. normally with the ls v8 it doesn't just see a crank rotation it has cam signals and a load more inputs...

also no front driveshaft of transfer case linkage yet.. im not willing to cut more holes in my floor so im going with pneumatic actuators (cleaner interior too). i got the idea from a thread i read awhile back. good stuff Air-shifted twin-sticked NP205 - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum

I like my shifter it just needs a little paint. If it were bent any other way it would whack the dash in gears 1 3 and 5.

tappet cover leak fixed,i had to take the drivers side of the engine apart power steering, injection pump, a heap of injector lines and clean the surfaces.
lucky for me i live close by to a Cummins supply, new gasket and a bottle of gorilla glue sealed it up real good. Not wanting to do this again. I only ever use that stuff when i absolutely have too, my 383 stroker in my Nova was having issues with the intake gaskets sucking air and this old feller gave me the idea.. been 4 years now no leaks

been romping the diesel for 2 days not a drop yet, maybe i can cross it off the list

Was this build ever completed? Interested in the mileage and durability of the 1/2 ton chassis holding all that additional weight
