I wouldn't call this a mock up but i wanted to get this monster in with all the accessories and transmission to see exactly what I'm working with.
Getting it in was some work, First thing i noticed was the transmission won't let me mount the setup high enough as i liked, meaning it will either sit low in the compartment (level) or i will have to mount the front of the engine rocked up a little to get proper fan alignment and extra pan-axle clearance.
Second was the steering linkage will interfere with the drivers side engine mount, but other then that i have truck loads of room..
Hopefully i will have my engine cradle/crossmember finished soon so i can start my straight axle mock up...

Between school and
this project has been moving slowly (but moving), I'm decent with an arc welder so decided my Cummins cradle/crossmember will be of my own making because i like to be difficult like that...

And photobucket isn't working after those two pictures, What a tease i guess ill upload more tomorrow. I have about 2 more hours of work to put into my cross member and i will be sure to show the finished piece.
