I eluded to this race in another post but thought I would put the full story. I bought my dodge 2500 4x4 diesel brand new with the intentions to town my g/fs horse trailer. With 1000 miles on the odometer i raced my brothers 04 hemi ram and he blew me away by many lengths. With 1100 mile I added a 65hp towing module and an aeroturbine exhaust. After several months of beating around the bush we finally had a couple of runs.

First run was from about a 15 mph roll. I was in 2x4 and i punched it and peeled . He pulled ahead a half a length but i was coming back strong whenever traffic approached.

Second run was from about 45 mph roll. Once again 2x4 for me. I punched it and pulled a half a truck and stayed there through 80 and we both let off.

Third and final run from a redlight. I put it in 4x4 to get a good launch. I stalled it up to 1000rpm, light goes green and i pull an instant truck length on him. I crept slightly more ahead by 85 and shut it down about 1 1/2 trucks ahead. He shook his head in disbelief and I rolled by smiling.

All in all not a bad race. Tomorrow hopefully he will run me in my s10.

 

Good kill on the Dodge vs Dodge. Don't see that every day.

 

Put you a banks system on there and start making some real hp and tq. Get you an intake they make the turbo sound badass. My buddy ahs a 2002 dodge cummins with the edge chip, straight exhaust and a K&N FIPK and it runs pretty good for a big *** truck.
