Default 08 CCSB vs ECSB Titan

we played follow the leader through the red lights until we were able to get a clean straight away. we got side by side at 70..we looked at each other gave the wave and we left out together. we were neck an neck i was slowly moving up until i hit 3rd gear and the CC fell on her face just enough to lose by a bumper.

stopped an bs'ed for a few minutes. he's got headers, exhaust, handheld tune. he said he's running 14.6-14.7 but cant give me a slip. the only thing thats been changed since my last run of 15.6 was a circle d 3000-3200 stall and billet servos. from a dig its bouncing off the rev limiter right as it shifts..i think it needs to have the rev limiter lifted or drop the shift rpm down.

damn, i feel you on the 3rd gear fall out, my truck sucks once it gets in 3rd....

the titans are pretty quick for what they are given their aftermarket...pretty sure they come from the factory with a relatively loose TC.

what'd the guys truck look like? need to know in case i see him, LOL.

we didnt run from a stop. we ran 70-100. he cant run from a dig because it wont catch traction. mine spins a lil then shoots out. i wanna regear but id rather do my cam than regear just incase the gears i have will be too low for street racing.

id like to run him from 60 or 65 to see how it pulls.

yeah thats him! cool *** dude. ya seen him run at the track?
why dont they have performance parts for them trucks? thats so dumb.

i got a cam swap in the works now then gears!

they have parts, they're just expensive as f*ck

they have cams, longtubes, even a blower...i think it's the tuning thats lacking for them, not sure what all uprev is capable of.

ohh i didnt know that.
jordan we needa meet up for a few runs. my buddy use to have a hemi, he hated losing to my ecsb GMC lol

i agree, i'm installing my cam this saturday so once i get a tune nailed down i'ma hit the track...i'll shoot you a pm when i go.

we went out to no problem last night, one of my buddies just put a comp 268 cam in his truck and ran it for the first time. it's a 2004 RC/SB with a hemi, mods as follows
-comp 268
-SCT tune
-cal-tracs
-efan
-stage 3 valvebody
-drag radials on 17s with 20s up front (normally runs skinnies up front)
-3000 stall
-4.10 gears with LSD
-bunch of weight reduction
-track intake he made with his headlight (basically a ram air)
-longtubes, no cats, single 3" magnaflow race muffler

his previous best was 13.1 motor, 12.34 on a 100 shot...

he went 13.05 @ 103 last night on motor with a not so great tune and no short-belt (belt was too stretched to run it)

so, once he gets his skinnies he should be high 12s motor and once he gets a nitrous tune and throws the 125 shot, hopefully low 11s.

so, moral of the story...it's a pretty damn impressive truck, and we need to meet up at the track one day haha
