Default 2006 Jaguar Supercharged XKR

I got a chance to race a 2006 Jaguar Supercharged XKR Coupe today from the light 4 times and from a rolling start. They are a fast vehicle, I didn't expect it to be that fast. I was able to pull on him with each gear but I will say this, they are fast for a Jaguar. The owner was great and had as much fun as I did with each time. The 6 speed automatic paddle shift in it was fast and he is about 1000 pounds lighter then me. It has the supercharged 4.2 engine and pulled real nice. Very hot car overall and I didn't even know they were out there.

Like I said earlier it was a hell of alot faster then I though a Jaguar could be. It looks like a Maserati at first, it was the coupe version and weighs 3800 pounds. My SSR weighs about 4595 dry and I had a full tank of gas.

Yeah, ive always been surprised by the weight of the SSRs, they look like that they would weigh alot less for some reason.

Motortrend has them listed with a 13.4 second 1/4 mile time. Like I said it is pretty fast for a Jaguar.

I have not had a chance to run it in the 1/4 mile yet. I plan to go to the next private track day since I think I will be kicked off after the first pass. They wont pass tech for under 13's because of the convertible top and no roll bar.
