Default 6.0rcsb vs 5.3exsb

well last nit ei was at the illegal race and this nbs scsb baby blue with white stripes with ss wheels in front and drags in rear pulls up(what a surprise this was cause there is only really ricers out there) well they r just lookin at my truck i guess cause of the cowl hood well he drives by me just lookin then he stops next to me pops the hood and begins to check well i decide to wlk over there adn see what he has and there it is a 6.0 this is the frist time i have seen this in person so im like nice so i begin to ask him ??'s to see what has been done he said nothing just shortie headers i asked where he bought and he from the dealership for bout 2500 cause his friend hooked him up so kool then this ecsb with the wheels stiking out the fenders pull up and says lets race and im lokkin at him (dumbass he got the 6.0) well i begin to follow these guys and notice ecsb is a one legger well to make the story short the race was even what gives now i dont know what the ecsb had but it looked like crap it was in my opinion a "mojo" no offense i have the 4.8 on 20's so i just tried to keep and my truck is a one legger stock, sorry for the book also i want a 6.0 to show him how its done

Wouldnt a cam and gears...maybe a stall in a 5.3 ecsb run with or beat the 6.0 rcsb. Of course the gears would be stupid to do if he still was peg legging. Dont know...maybe the 6.0 was having a bad night. Maybe you should have raced him to see what it had. Anyway, nice novel.

by the sound of the ecsb no cam so i dont get it the 6.0 (forgot to mention airaid) and shorties with slicks should have done better but i didnt ask him if it was an lq4 or an lq9 but i told him he needed it tuned he said it was brand new never used so it might also need time to break in i am dumbfounded???

Maybe he was blowing smoke up your butt by saying it was a 6.0. You can't look at the engines and tell them apart. He may have been sporting a 4.8 with 6.0 engine covers or somthing.

well i can say one thing the lq4 isnt a very powerful engine i mean sure it makes some good numbers but they are still slow. i beat them things all the time wen i was only engine and exhaust and my engine was only puttin out 315hp 378trq that was too the crank. so i dont kno wut to say abt those trucks with the 6.0l other than im not to fond of them

Yeah, 300hp and 360tq on a stock engine is weak

ok well thursday at the races the same truck was there:he raced a lightning and beat it the lightning was on his tailgate all 5 times they raced the lightning was stock but then he raced another lightning with a couple things and got beat so it has to be the lq9

Musta been a fast *** ecsb 5.3 he raced then. The 5.3 coulda been on the juice or something
