If and when you run him again have him manual shift it cause it makes a big difference once 3rd kicks in. Look at my RPM the first roll it was in drive and you will see where the recover shift 3800 rpm vs the second one it was manual shift and the recovery is like 5000 rpm which in return pulls hard up top

This a crewcab HEMI with 3.55 gears only mod being magnaflow

Many people know these ram R/T have ran different times in different lcoation due to D.A, track elevation, temp whcih play a big role in E/T.

These new rams are totally different when raced in drive vs manual shift. I know cause i had a crewcab 2010 stock and would pull on many. Flaco had traction issue from what he told me ando n nitrous he would hit the speed governer before the traps. He tried spraying in second gear and would still break the tires loose. He never got good times and when he ran its N/A it was like in the summer time and you know how hot it is in houston. Not making excuse just stated facts flaco told me when he was tuning my truck

yeah they sucks from a digg with 2.94 gears but the harley did good from a roll. They are strong i just couldnt see myself spending that much on a truck or car again. I rather spend it on my house. I heard they are like almost 55k

62nalide when you are racing your denali do you manual shift your truck or just throw it in drive? I read a few people saying they were manual shifting their 6.2 sierra and silverados but every time I have tried it just doesn't seem to be predictable enough to manual shift. I could never get it to shift quick enough or when I wanted it to.

at the track i keep it in ''D'' ive tried manual shifting it but with boost it picks up to quick BUT if its a roll lets say a 20 ill go to 1st and then after i pass 5,500 i push upwards to ''D'' befor it hit 6k and a higher roll i do manual shift it but after 5500 so i wont hit the rev limiter

Ok sounds like the same experience I had. Will have to play around in manual from a roll race though and see if I like it.

Thanks for the info. Back to the Ford and Dodge talk

yeah wouldve been good from a roll IMO but either way i believe i wouldnt have touch the 6.2L cause its a beast but im sure i could've gotten the 5.0 or v6TT but well never know. I ran trucks that ran 9.5 in the 1/8 from a dig and i would get them a truck on the street after i caught up to them but they would jump out 1/2 truck but once i hit 2nd i would even up and pull easily. I also ran a tundra ext cab 5.7L with the 4.10s not 4.30 and he ran a 9.4 and from a roll i got him 1/2 truck but from a 60 roll i got him2 trucks. My ram was a beast from a rollw ith 3.55

EITHER WAY YOU GOT SOME SICK TRUCKS AND I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE EITHER ONE OF THEM. Its badass with 4 doors are whoopin trucks and cars
