7845 vs aeroking
yesterday aeroking and i both line up. were at what is called flashlight drags.
aeroking= syclone with 72mm, ported heads, cam, 3400 stall yadda yadda
7845= 4.8 with 88mm
were at the starting line and i can hear aeroking spooling his turbo, me on other hand held the rpms at 6500. soon as i see the light i slip the clutch hard and im out a full truck lenght, proceed to grab 2nd up about little over a truck, go to grab third my clutch pedal rod broke and now im coasting along and here comes aeroking up aside of me. we cross the finish evenly. the lenght of track was 1/8 mile.
not to bad for a 2wd boosted truck leaving with 0 boost vs a awd truck leaving on boost

haha, dont say that lol. ive kicked idea of making up some type of X brace underneath the truck. bolt it in place where the 2 front bars are and that thin rear bar is. maybe make it out of roll bar tubing. give truck some rigidity. cage or not i think this would help greatly in eveyrthin from driving on street to track....race cars have it why not on a truck?
