ok bud obviously you been around racing longer then me, have more experience and etc. I just handed a AWD its *** off hte line. but you know more about racing and how a properly setup RWD can do go look at properly setup cars...alot of them can easily pull wheels on street, if they can hook on street then where does AWD have an advantage? again i dont pull wheels but can easily out launch a AWD. go research proper ways to dial in RWD. ppl complain about traction majority of time its inproper setup of suspension

slicks dont hook as well on street as a cheater slick or a DR does. and DR are 100% street legal. ive even seen ppl hook well on a A compound tire

I'm not going to jump in here about who launches harder, but can you give a description of your suspension set up?

nothing crazy. listend to others and read. Flaco -4 pinion, dude with the red RCLB with the 427 hsi is around -4 on DRs. he yanks the wheels. there are others that run negative pinion.

for me im on 295/65/15s i have my pinion at -3.5 im using my overloads with snubbers on them. id say its a combo of control of clutch, 488s,tires and pinion angle. i can easily floor first gear thru 4th and not once spin or bark the tires. this is first time ever using a negative pinion. i did the homework and listend to othes and seems to be working
