Couple races at the track with the caprice
Yeah i know it's not my truck, but still gonna post some kills. 1/8th mile track, 1st 4 runs were back to back
1st race-SRT-4
I actually beat the little car through the traps, but he ran a faster time, after we went through the traps he went flying by me, slips show he was probably spinnin' em pretty bad cause his MPH was HIGH
Caprice- Neon
Reaction -.102 - .341
60 ft- 2.150 - 2.351
330 ft- 6.120 - 6.146
ET - 9.421@74.282 - 9.199@83.221
2nd Race- Mustang GT, i'm guessin an automatic
Very sorry race, i'm hopin' it wasnt' running right, but check out my reaction time
Caprice - Mustang
.002 - .170
2.189 - 2.380
6.189 - 6.647
9.481@74.376 - 10.132@70.283
3rd i raced by myself, was supposed to race a built S-10 that runs in the 6's, but he had a radiator hose break at the line
Caprice
-.050
2.217
6.210
9.534@73.372 Missed 4th before the traps
4th race, old diesel suburban, not worth mentioning, but i had a good reaction time
.073
2.178
6.179
9.508@72.028 granny shifted into 4th this time
5th race and best race 06 crew cab duramax diesel with bully dog stuff and an intake. I let the car set about 35 minutes to cool off before this race
Caprice-Duramax
.029 - .476
2.164 - 2.133
6.094 - 6.148
9.367@74.833 - 9.450@74.561
Next week i open the cutouts to see how much of a difference it is. I'm pretty consistent, i know the reasons i ran the 9.5's, and i'm pretty sure the 9.3 is because i let it cool down some.

Nice times man, where at, I went to Ware shoals last Friday, but there was not many people there due to the weather. I am planning on going to Greer Thursday. I am still very impressed by the Caprice.

Yeah my reaction time has been kickin ***, i've got a pile of slips and i've got a better reaction time that everybody i've raced. Got some .002 .005 .007 .009, all of them are under .050 though at greer. But BBB i went to wareshoals, u didn't miss anything, u woulda liked it if u like sitting in line for an hour and not moving an inch. They were having a big event today (saturday) so they let a bunch of pro tree fast cars run a lot, so i was in line for 3 hours, run twice, NOTHING like greer. And i bet i could count how many cars had their times show on one hand, EVERYBODY was running N/T's, it sucked, but the track is FAST. First time out pulled a 2.085 60, was on my way to my fastest time and i missed the hell out of 3rd, still mangaged a 9.5. 2nd time as soon as i staged up they dropped the lights before i could even get my rpms set to where i wanted to dump it, so it bogged off line, pulled a 2.2 60 but still run a 9.3. But i'm goin out friday again in the caprice when there not supposed to have a big day on that sat. Thursday the lil' green truck is goin' to the track to smoke the TIRE down track and see if i can't trap 75mph at like a 10.8, lol.

Nice run Thursday, I never saw where you went after the 9.2 run, I ended up running the truck at about 9:00, It ran like crap, no traction what so ever. I did however talk to that guy with the silver Corvette, he has Hp Tuners and is going to go through my tune and see what is going on. Hopefully he can help me out some, I really think my truck has a 9.2 in it like it is, if I can get the tune down. I almost bought a cam the other day but did not. There is a Comp 216/220 in the classifieds for 200 bucks. I just don't have the cash right now, going on vacation in July.

Motor is completely stock except for a $44 ebay intake and muffler replacement with some magnaflows. Tranny however is a 6-speed, aluminum driveshaft, 4.56 gear with eaton in the rear.
After i parked my brother called me and i never made it back to see ya. But yeah i saw the truck run and i agree that it has a 9.2 in it easy. Just look at some of the other trucks on this board that have some of the same mods, they're runnin' pretty good. So what's the vette got done to it? 6.9's are pretty fast.
