yes, stock 4l60e with 3000 stall

thanks for all the help man! i am learning something new.
That track has to be 600'....a 9.3 1/8th is about a 14.5 in the 1/4 and your mph 71 puts you at 88mph in the 1/4...there is no way you are running that in the 1/8th with a 2.1 60ft.

i tried friday night to run, but i couldnt hook. i pulled the spare tire and tailgate, and i spun the first 100'...... i never got a chance to spray it.

i just ordered a set of 17" aluminum wheels and put some hooker LT's on...sounds beastly!!

i probably wont run again until i get the locker and gears in. the tires are 275/60r17 that i ordered.

What wheel did you go with and drag radial. I just don't want to see you waste money.

on your last run what was the mph in the 1/8 and what was the 60 foot?

275 60 17

6000 rpms with 3.23 gears
1st goes to 54
2nd goes to 101

6000 with 3.73 gears
1st goes to 46
2nd goes to 88

What is the rpm shift you have 1-2 2-3

I would personally get 4.10s and don't look back. That 4.8 is going to need all the help it can get out of the hole. Also, raise those shift points to at 6300 if you are at 6000. And isn't the converter you have a rebuilt stock one? I would put a 9.5" 3000 or bigger converter on your mod list. It will help out a lot. Mine is a 9.5" vig 3200 (stalls to 4k) and I pulled a 1.801 60" with some spin...should be low 1.7x high 1.6x no spin.

With a good tune, 9.5" 3000+ converter, 4.10/locker, & tires, nitrous vs. nitrous you will be putting that tundra in it's place (rear view mirror).

i just got the new 17" rims/tires in that i ordered...so that should help a lot!! gears and posi are on the way, i will stick with this converter for now. it was from RedStarPerformance, and looks like a stock unit....but its all new inside.....i wanted to avoid warranty issues so i asked for something with a stock look....but now i think i have voided the warranty with these long tubes and no cats.

its you guys fault, making me want to go faster and faster. if i cant pull at least a 1.9 60ft with this verter and 17" tires/ 3.73 gears....then i will swap to a smaller OD verter with a higher stall speed.
