Default First Kill since LS1 swap

After 3 months of having the engine in, I finally picked up my first kill. I know that its not even worth posting, but I absloutely wasted a Neon R/T tonight. We went from about a 50 mph punch, and I let off at 90 mph. By 90 I had about 7 lengths on him, so I decided he had had enough humiliation. He came up beside me and all he could do was laugh at how bad he just got beat. Ive always had a thing out for the R/Ts since I got beat by one when I still had the 4.8 in last year. Now that I have my truck running good again, I plan on hitting up the track next week sometime. Im looking to pull some low 13's, however my one wheel peel might hold me back.

My set up consists of a LS1 out of a camaro SS, TR224 with 918's, TT3k TC, Jag built 4l65e, open diff with 3.42s, e-fans, and a couple other minor mods.

Kev. Ive been so busy with work and school that I havent had time to do much of anything. Who'd a thought that learning how to work on BMW's would be so complicated

If there are any guys from the Orlando area that meet up somewhere, lemme know. All I see around this area are mini trucks and ricers.

Pics of the swap can be found here . The swap is not ver difficult, but its pretty time consuming. Basically all you are doing is pulling one motor out, and setting the new one in and reconnecting everything.
About the LS1 vs 6.0, its all about user preference. I got the LS1 because a friend was selling his for a good price. There are many pro/cons about each engine. I personally like the LS1 because of the alum. block and lighter weight. My front end lifted up about 3/4", and I can tell it the handleing had gotten lighter up front.

Congrats on the kill, and nice truck BTW! It looks liket the ls1 is doing great. I notice you have the Jag Perf. 4L65. I am also from Orlando and wanted to know if you had your tranny done locally and if not, did they ship it, did you return yours for a core or just build up the 4L60 and what costs were involved. Thanks.

Honestly man I wouldnt waste my time at the track if I were you at this time. You wont get anywhere near a good idea of what it will run with the open diff and street tires. I did a LS1 swap about 3 months ago in my 03' EXTENDED CAB. I have 4.10's and open diff and it is a waste of money to try to race and I didnt even waste the n20. Your in a reg cab too. Thats gonna be even worse. I was having to literally roll untill like 15-20mph and then ease into WOT to not spin and that was with brand new INDY 500's. LOL! I think I ran like a 14.7 or something and wasnt even gonna waste the n20! You should be able to hook up ok with street tires and posi though! Dont you love the extra TQ and the top end of the LS1?
