First kill, still shaking...
Got my first kill. Heading south on I-35 around Lewisville lake. I was driving the limit, wasn't in a big rush, and I see a Ram 1500, older year, come flying on my right behind a car. Car turns off, and I hear him start to lay into it. I laid into mine, and he immediately lets off (I drive with my cutout open 24/7 except for the morning when everyone's sleeping.)
I resume speed, and he comes up beside me and rolls his window down. I can't hear him, but he makes the "let's run them" motion. I yelled: "From what roll?" He held up 4 fingers, so I slow to 40 and let him honk off. I did let him get the jump on me, being super nervous does that I suppose.
I punched once his door reached my bumper. He gained a little ground from 40-50, then I started to reel him in. 60, and I'm next to him. It was all over after that, took it up to 85-90, putting more distance between us.
Ran twice, same result both times. He was a good sport, gave me a thumbs up, and I settled back down to my speed, and he went on his way.
I have a 2004 1500 CCSB. Performance mods are: Calspeed long tube headers (soon to be Pacesetter), Raceready exhaust cutout, Airaid MIT, vette servo, all with a 93 octane tune by BBP.
Sorry if it's long, just wanted to get all the details in. I did have my GoPro with me, but it was out of battery

Hah, thanks all. That was the first time I've ever run against anything.
Yes it is, good grief it's a rush.
My hunting area is Sanger, I work/live there so I don't get out too much. I was on my way to sell my undercover to a guy. But, I will keep an eye out...

Better be careul that is my hunting area for my 13 second Titan. Driving from Mesquite to Sanger on my way to Northstar Dragway from work. Such fun beating up on other vehicles in a truck isn't it. I go to PRT Performance off Mill street in Lewisville pretty often too. About to put the truck on the dyno again there soon for a baseline before headers get installed. Made 296 RHWP/383 RWTQ last visit in 105*F temps. Added a ported throttle body and reworked exhaust since then.

The other cool thing is Steve has the only mandrel bender I know of in DFW! You can get exhaust fab work done. It will cost you but it will be tig welded stainless 304 that is mandrel bent and will last the lifetime of the truck.
