Got beat by a pt.net RCSB and SRT10 in Houston
Cruising back from New Years festivities in Galveston, came across two menacing looking trucks, a black NNBS RCSB that I thought I had seen in someone's sig on the site here, and a black SRT10 CC that didn't appear to be stock. Sure enough, on the back of the RCSB was a "tuned by Flaco" and a pt.net sticker.
I was zipping along to get back to Houston on I45 and passed them, and they quickly matched my speed. I hit the tow/haul button and dropped it into third and rolled into it and put a few cars on them, as if to say "I know it looks stock" The SRT quickly pulled up besides me, in third I think, tapping the throttle and making the whole truck lurch forward and showing off his massive amount of tq. I had no intention of doing any racing, I had two passengers, the back full of luggage, and a 3/4 full keg on ice in the back.
Buuttttt, after some taunting by them, I decided to find out what the old Tahoe could do, so the RCSB and I slowed to about 30-35 to give us some running room ahead. I gave it three honks and we both punched it. He immediately jumped out in front by about a car, then slowly started pulling on me until he had a good 5 lengths at 120ish. I rolled down the window and gave him a thumbs up. His truck ran really strong and just sounded mean. Props to both trucks, they could run circles around me... looks like I need to start making some purchases to stay in the game :nunchuk1:
I don't know either of the guys, but post up if you know the trucks. The SRT10 is in the background of one of the pictures, but you can't really see it.

yeah, I guess you're right, now looking at it. I just thought it looked longer than the RCSB's I am used to seeing, like this:
And a quick search revealed to me what a RCLB NNBS actually looks like...

Not yet. I picked up a set of 05 fans for a good price and have an AlkyControl meth kit sitting under my bed, both waiting to go on. But the holidays made a pretty good dent on my wallet, so future purchases might be put on hold for a while.
What's next on your list? Still trying to find a good time for the fans and headers?

I've got all my parts set aside for the L92 top end swap, just need a set of head bolts . . .
