Had some fun tonight.
So, I was sitting in my house doing absolutely nothing and decided I'd go out for a drive. Well, I ended up driving down to Atlanta and was looking for some races but nobody would bite. It was a pretty uneventful drive other than a Mustang GT and a 4 door Civic. But, those were nothing compared to what I was about to see.
I change highways and as I'm rounding the turn to get onto the toll road I glance over to my right because something caught my attention, but I didn't see anything. So, traffic starts to die down and this really annoying whining sound that I've been hearing for the last couple minutes is getting on my nerves. Simultaneously, the highway widens to three lanes and out of nowhere this black knight-rider looking Lamborghini starts walking away from me.
Well... I found out what was making the whining sound.
So, I immediately slam the gas pedal down from reflexes and catch up to the Lambo but my actions didn't quite match what I was thinking. I could now see the driver of the Lambo smiling and we both nail it at the same time. My bottle's open and my only chance to stay with this guy is by pressing the button, so I do. He walks me... I don't think I've ever seen something accelerate that fuggin quickly!
I... We, change highway's again and he nails it on the on-ramp. I follow suit and we get off at the next exit and get to a red-light. I look over and I think this guy was ready to hand me a bib because I was drooling so much. This car is absolutely amazing! I don't like foreign cars, but this one just hit me like a gut shot.
He revs his engine, I follow suit... again, only getting myself in much more trouble and the light turns green. I, doing apparently the only thing I'm good at, nail the gas yet again and push the button. For that .25 seconds ladies and gentlemen, my truck was faster than a Lamborghini Murcielago. He rolled down his window and gave me the thumbs up and then prepared for launch. Again, making me take a giant
in my seat.
I think that's the most fun I've ever had losing a race.

I told my co-worker the story today that's obsessed with Lambo's and with the descriptions I gave him he said it wasn't a Murcielago but the brand new Reventon or something.
