Yeah, as for the mismatched gears, they were supposed to get done at the same time, but school and a doctor bills from a broken foot held me back for the time being. The front should be done by next week. I even have a piece of duct tape over my switch panel, it reads: "DON'T TOUCH!!!! Chit will break!!!". That way, even if someone else gets in my truck and for some reason has the notion to drop it 4lo and go for a joy ride, they'll at least be deterred for the time being!
I ran a 15.047 after idling in the staging lanes for 20 minutes with a 20mph head wind, I was at full weight too. Lol, not making excuses, but not the best day for a good pass. It should have went 14.7 or so without the headwind. And the guy that I raced has a friend with a similar truck, non crewmax 4 door 2wd, and he runs about a 15 flat. I told the guy to run me at the track, and he said that I would take him for sure, we'll have to see one day. One thing's for sure though, those Tundras run like some scalded dogs, especially that new S/C one coming out soon. I just don't like the direction Toyota went with the exterior and interior design. Still nice trucks though.
With the Firestone Destination A/T's, on the street, they don't do much more than spin from a dig but I can keep it to a minimum if I roll into it. At the track, they actually hooked pretty well with a little burnout and running them at 25psi. I cut a 2.19 60ft. with a little spin and brake stalling in D. Overall, I love them, I have the option of going to a larger tire and still have the help in the low end.
What kinda times you running in the 1/4 there QLF? Just curious, good runs its sounds like. I hate when people who probly know nothing about it critique and critisize other peoples stuff.
Nice kills...those 4.56's are presenting some traction issues eh? I know these dang 3.73's hook but not much jump to'em
