I never said what I was racing in.

I have grown to hate this attitude that prevails on this website. Wrong until proven right.

If I had followed this attitude, I would have accused a kid of lying to me the other night. He told me his Chrysler Pacifica had a HEMI in it. After little research I found that the Pacifica was available with a HEMI package, its HEMI was a 4.0L V6 with special badging.

I have no dog in this fight, and quite frankly I could careless what the majority of people on here think about me anymore. I don't understand why everyone has to jump on a guy and start accusing him of making up a story or exaggerating things. He has been a member here for awhile, and as far as I can tell he has never once done anything to lead anyone to doubt him. Why not cheer him on as he would do you in similiar moment of glory. Isn't the underdog winning what the performance truck guys are all about. There are so many variables at play here, the reason for him winning may never be explained. More then once I have seen someone post on here that they lost a race to something that shouldn't have won do to this reason or that. Why could that have no worked to his advantage here. Maybe the Tahoe was running perfect with a good driver and the lightning just running ok with a sub-par driver. I know I have had more then my far share of unexplainable lucky moments in my time.

Why not say congrats, now go do it again and get it on camera?

The only reason I really visit this site anymore is to keep up with the builds and the friends I have made on here. Passed that, I am fed up with the attitudes on here. I am not speaking to those that have posted friendly comments of wonder, but to those who have posted the hateful responses as if the OP was nothing more then a liar.

the way i see it is, there isn't really a attitude.....its purely based on factual information that given the circumstances, the outcome should have been different! Nobody is getting their panties in a wad....i could say oh yea i beat a Porsche 911 turbo in my truck but it just wouldn't add up! Now..... if i had a video of me and a Porsche racing in traffic and the car had to stop because cars came up it would show that i truly didn't win! We aren't being dicks its just hard to believe a bunch of car freaks and people who have been here and done that, would just say " Wow good win for the Tahoe with 280 hp vs. the lighter truck with 380"

Don't get mad just understand that its all in good fun!

I don't think a stock lightning makes no 380 horse at the wheels. And i know texas heat would make the Iat's pretty high unless they had a decent size intercooler and meth to bring the temps down so that would cut power some too. Plus i see curb weight is around 46xx lbs.. Add a driver that's 200 pounds and a half tank of gas and the weight would be up there. My truck weighed in at 5380lbs with no gas and me in it

If you think about it, take a stock Lightning that has been driving for a bit or just beat on his truck, it may have some pretty high IAT's. So a 330-340RWHP Lightning that ways 4800lbs that is having high IAT's VS. a 280RWHP 5500lb Freak Tahoe......its not completely impossible....but we still want to see

There isn't any research that has to be done.. A stock L will out run a stock hoe all day long.. I don't really think anybody gave a attitude, just stating what we think.. You simply can't post up that you beat something that is in a totally different league in stock trims. If you do you better have the proof(vid) to back it up.. If he can't get it on a vid of the HOE walking the dog on the L then I am sure we will all come back and say holy **** that is awsome, your truck is a freak... So like stated everybody has opinions, just cause they don't fall in line with yours( CTT) doesn't me it is attitude.. We all love fast trucks thats why were here.. You shouldn't get all bent on us having our doubts......Best part is that the guy is being a good sport about us saying we do not believe it BTW I beat a F16 today
