With an absolutely terrible driver I am sure they are. A completely bone stock 6.1 car heat soaked with a crappy driver can run 14's all day long. If a 6.4 is running 14's the retard should just hand his keys to someone else with more cerebral capacity. I mean I ran a GT 500 Shelby that was trapping over 120 mph.... and running in the 13's.... That guy had mad skill....... And even after a full year of racing the car he was just as terrible at the end on slicks as he started with street tires.

Thanks. Haven't seen it around town since then. Although it has been dumping rain almost everyday.

No not military. Sadly I was not able to get any track times with all the new mods

I went to the track a few times but had a weird issue with it wanting to fall flat on it's face after the 1-2 shift. It was something simple and is fixed now, just sadly didn't figure it out till after our track up here closed.

I am guessing low 12's to high 11's

My brothers wife has an R/T with intake, exhaust and a diablo tune. We went to fun night at Norwalk a few weeks back and my brother got a best of 13.68@102 (DA was around 2600) which was impressive to me because I have seen several SRT8's running slower (14's in cool weather even). I'm curious why these cars seem to be so seemingly inconsistent?

Like anything else. Crappy drivers and heat soak.

When mine was more stock( just tune and intake) I would run a 13.5 pass to the next guys 14.1..... lol. I talked to most of the other SRT owners running on any given night and I usually had no clear advantage in mods or anything. Most had Diablo tunes, CAI's and catbacks. I mean a friend that now has the previous mentioned 2012 SuperBee had an Orange 09 Bee too. He had more done to it than my car and was lucky if he could break 13.9 when I was running 13.3 and 13.4...... He knew how to drive and launch but the car was just a turd....... And he sold it because of that.

For the longest time the 2 strongest cars in a 10'ish car club of SRT's that would do meets at the track were mine and another guys 06. Him and I ran about dead even everytime...... Soooooo.. were him and I that much better behind the wheel or were the cars just stronger? I don't know..... and I don't care anymore, lol.
