Default I got reved at today

Poor little 4.7 dodge. This kid has a black dodge ram 1500 rcsb 2wd and he painted the same stripes on it as mine. He has at least a K@N cold air and duels, I hope thats all. He pulls up to me at a red light so I look over and he's pulling it out of gear to give me the pipes. I laughed. I put the old 4.8 in 4-wheel auto and when the light turned green the rears cherped auto 4-wheel grabed and I waved bye-bye. My truck only has a tune with no muffler. I pulled 2 lengths by the 1-2 shift and I let off. Then the dreaded fly-by.

Good kill. Nothing surprises them more than a 4wd launch but it's not recommended to use 4W-Auto, rather use the 4-Hi and then switch back into 2wd after getting out of the hole.

a little off topic, but my father in laws 99 250 7.3 was running like 18s all day. i put a sct tunner in it. then intake, full exhaust. and i did a 4hi launch and switched it back at the 1-2 shift.. wow what a difference, his top end sucks but that 0-70 is nice.. he ran about a 15.8 or so.. if i can remeber correctly. but does not compare to the new diesels. my buds 04 gm 6.0 has full exhaust and a chip and is running high 13s with no traction.

Ooooh ok! Cool, yeah I don't think having the power being transfered back and forth would do much good to the drive train.

What about with a manual transfer case? same deal? obviously i don't have auto 4x4 on it, but i wasn't sure about shifting outta 4x4 back into 2wd on the hammer. i just don't think the 4x4 will disengage until after i get off the gas
