I wasn't going to but we raced after the dig the hemi wanted to go from a 30 so we did but I forgot I turned the switch off so I didn't spray and he beat me and the SS asked what happened and I told him I didn't have my switch on and he said yeah I thought something was wrong, so when we got back to talk he slipped and told the hemi I didn't spray on the second race lol I don't care if he had it he would use it!

 

are you running mid-length headers or shorties? why not get a NP tune or something?
id like to run ya im sure we'd be close. how far is sherman, tx from the Louisiana line?

ok, i was born in Paris, Tx. if you was closer, id say go Truckshop but you live so far so id recommend Wheatley/Nelson Performance since your closer to them and can get a tune even though you change things on the truck.

if you was closer to beaumont, tx id bring a couple CCSBs out to play with you. we'll see how close you are to 12.9-13.2 on the juice

 

I have emailed nelson and have looked around but just haven't decided yet, I'm going to redline raceway in caddo mills tx on the 5th so going to see what she runs, but its a different truck on the spray I'm shooting for a 8.9

 

I think I'm real close to a 12.8, I figured that SS was running a 13.0 cause it was a auto but who knows, hell if I have to I will put some bigger pills in!

 

i seen SCSBs go 12.8-12.9 on the juice but only a 13.8-14.0 on motor.

 

My truck before I got the NX kit went 10.0@73 in the 1/8 I was so pissed cause I had a 04 RST rcsb it pretty much had the same mods except it was a 5spd with 3.73s and I was running 22s on it but I was using the superchips programmer and it would go 9.6 in the 1/8 I'm going to spray everytime I race, I also beat my friends wifes 06 GT vert, its a auto with cai , bassani exhaust , sct programmer and with me spraying I can spank that GT!

 

ditch the shorties and get some pacesetter LT's, get a custom tune (wheatley is closest to you). Then if you want more look into a decent stall and cam! Then you can spank some sorry hemi *** with or without the bottle

 

The reason I went with shorties is to still keep it under warranty, I talked to a guy he said he would put a LS1 hot cam and springs and HP tune my truck so I might end up doing that and get like a 2500 stall but no lie that hemi was quick stock 390hp
