We was a light, he keep reving hes engine,i knew i couldt beat him,so he takes off on me,come to another light, this time isaid screw this,i jumpedon him,cut him off. so we both get on the freeway,were both even about 100mph, then ipilled him by atleast 2 car lenthgs,mustve had a governor,oh well.

 

not trying to rain on your parade or anything but i dont think he was all the way on it. those little srt4's have some pretty serious top end. for example, on the strip i launched the hell out of a srt4 and at mid track i was atleast 3-4 cars ahead. by the end of the 1/4 he was a few cars ahead of me. i thought i had him beat . you were messing with a 13 second car.

 

yea i didnt want to race, but hell,maybe he didnt know how to drive, if he has a governor, he cant do crap, i dont have a governor on my truck

 

that little car has no governor, and would put you to shame very easily. i hate those little cars too, but forget about it. he probably knew he could murder you and was trying to avoid a ticket- sorry man

 

I posted about a race I had with a modded srt4 and it was dead even. Those cars can go 150 mph so that answers your governed questions. Maybe he shifted from 2nd to 5th on accident but decided to stay in it to see how it would end. He's probably posting on another forum of how he stayed right with a full size from a 5th gear start. Better luck next time.

 

I think you guys might jumping to some conclusions here. As far as I know a stock SRT-4 runs about 14 flat. Now I'll admit that there are some modded ones around here that I won't even mess with, those cars can be extremely fast. However with all the stuff he has done to his 4.8 and maybe if it runs a little better than most, I don't think it's impossible that he could hang with him for a while. I'll agree that the SRT driver either got off of it at 100 or just wasn't shifting it where he should have been.

 

ECSB 4.8 with the mods he has listed has no chance against a srt4.

 

A friend of mine has a 05 SRT-4 with no mods to speak of and runs 14.10's - 14.20's.... but it can run low 13's with very little in mod money.... and I know of some that can run 11's with a reasonable outlay of cash.....

I raced one from about a 45-50 roll and by the time I got to 90 he was about 4-5 lengths ahead... I'm pretty surte he let off too!! It was modded I'm sure I think he had an upgraded turbo and intake/exhaust..

 

Do The Regular Neons Look Like The Srt4, This One Had A Spoiler, It Was Kinda Loud,when We Was On The Freeway,i Keep Up With Him,of Course We Was Going Over A Hundred.
