Default Modded Colorado vs Stock 5.3

Well i raced my friend in his modded 3.7 Colorado
His mods are g-80, Nitto drag radials, Full exhaust, Tune, Suspension, dropped and intake, 3.73 gears and a 75 shot that was not used in this race.

my mods are RCSB, Tool box, 285-75-16 All terrains, Open differential, 3.42 gears, Ebay intake, stock exhaust and 10% added line pressure with no TM on the stock transmission.

Did three runs
First run
30roll, he was in first shifting manually and i was in second took him by my truck length and a half he was honking.

Second run
35 roll he was in first manually and i was in second just doing a down shift automatically letting the trans do its thing. I honked and beat him by about the same

Third run
Was from a dig, he thought he would have the advantage having drag radials and a posi vs my big mud tires and open diff.
He thought wrong, This time we were at a red light, it turned green i was brake stalling at 1500 let off the brake and eased into the throttle, safe to say that this was about 2 car lengths, he was freaked out because his tuck is a mid 14 sec truck. and mines just a stock quiet work truck Can you say sleeper .

Hopefully when i take it to the track ill hit a high 14 now that the colder weather is coming. Note to self buy a mini camcorder so i can record my races.
First official kill since the v6 to v8 swap

Also I'm keeping the 3.42's i love them lol

Your buddy should have been able to yank your truck.

Is it just me or in that video does it seem like your oil pressure gauge is pegged all the way past the right?

could it also be that i don't have any of my a/c connected so there isn't any drag on the crank?
