OBS tried and lost...bad
A friend of mine is always bragging about how bad his 98 ext cab is. All I hear is 350 this and that. We leave work the other night and he pulls next to me at the stop. He says what you got, I just put a brand new 350 in this thing. I tell him, I got nothing but you can try it. As soon as he says go, I instantly pull hard enough to leave him and put about 5 lengths on him before he just gives up. I am laughing so hard. I call him and ask him what happened. He just says you must have some power in that thing.LOL. I'm like, its just a lil 4.8l. This is still with the lift and big tires on it. Still rocking the 3.42s, so it doesnt have the pull it used to. It would have been worse if my truck was still low with the 18s.

yeah the 350 were good motors for the time, but the 5.3's and 6.0's are far superior. Don't get on the FSC forum then haha seems like everyone on there is stuck on the 350 and our engines are nothing in comparison HA!

I'm on there as well, I love talking crap to them about the new motors being better, and they cant believe that my little 4.8 runs as good as it does. What, you guys dont like hearing about how fast the express van is.LOL. He is on this site as well. I will have to try to get the guy to run again and bring the camera, but that will be in a couple weeks. I am on vacation right now, but today it will end in pain. Getting the wisdom teeth pulled at noon.
