Ya I know they aren't really all that fast, at least in stock form. Don't know if the one I raced was stock or not. I saw him coming up behind me in traffic but didn't pay much attention till we came to a light turning red and I was able to get in the lane next to him.

I eased into it to keep from spinning the tires when the light turned green and he jumped up about a 1/2 car length on me where I stopped his pull and pretty much just stayed with him till about 90 where he shut down. Then as luck has it we hit the next light red too. He looked over at me and I rolled down the window.

He was impressed with how fast my truck is (I still think it's slow) and asked what was done to it. I rattle off some of my mods and then put it in 4wd and stalled it up for the light. (These stoplights are on a 4 lane highway) When the light changed I nailed it and jumped out about a length and a half on him and stayed there till about 80 and shut down for traffic. He caught up next to me a said "you got me that time" gave a wave and turned off. Seemed like a cool guy.
