Default Raced a Cobalt SS

I pull up to a light next to this shiny red cobalt ss, he looks at his buddy and they laugh at me and he revs the motor. Me and my buddies make fun of his fart can and I rev back, needless to say my exhaust sounds much sexier, any way, I put her in 4 wheel drive and stall er' up and the light goes green, and were off, Im ahead by a little more than half a car, and staying there, shift to 2 wheel, and start pulling, I hit 60 (speed limit 45) and shut her down with right at a half a car length on the guy. Needless to say me and my buddies and his buddy were laughing our asses off at this guys "Sports Coup" that was just egded off by a 3/4 ton truck. Had we gone to 80 he prolly would have taken it. Either way I won, and it was well worth the gas. That cobalt is ****.

Nice kill, they arent race cars, but they arent your average import piece of crap either. Im curious as to how hard it would be for them to swap pulleys and get more fuel to it.

They can gain 1psi by just installing a intake so becarefull. Gm is also coming up with an upgrade package to boost the hp to 245hp

I raced one a while back and smoked him up to 95mph when we had to shut down. The little f-er was pretty quick!! I only beat him by about 4 car lengths up to that speed. I was only running 5 psi at the time too.

haha, i was riding with a friend last week in his C5 Z06 and we had this cobalt ss follow us for like 6 miles, my friend would drop the gear and stomp it on and off to taunt him, then just pull away. i felt like a bobble head. then at a light he pulls up, and its this little skinny white guy driving, with an asian guy as his passenger and someone in the back seat. he pulls up "nah man we're not gonna race you, you got a V8" then he looks at the fender badge and tells his asian buddy "oh **** its a Z06 *****" funny part was he was white with his cap backwards but to the side a lil bit
