Default Ran a shelby mustang

Ok well im driving down center street over here in deer park and see this 06-08white shelby mustang with grey stripes thats always hauling as everywere... i was on my way to pick up some springs from a member on here but decided to go off track a littlle to see if this guy would bite and of course he did.I followed him all the way to the beltway and he knew i was game and asked if we could do a 20... i would have preffered a 30 but what the hell i went for it.i do three honks and we are off... we went all the way to about 100 and through the whole race he managed to pull about 3/4 lengths of a car. i got next to him and he asked if i had a supercharger, i replied no and he said he had a 350?? and his friend ran a 12.7 in his car. overall i was impressed do to the fact that i was on 20's with 275/50/20 tire.... question is would this race been any different if i was on my 27inch drag radials??

The DR's probably wouldn't make as much diff from a roll but you would at least have been dead even with him.

I personally think it would make a difference cause these dam things are 31.2' tall and wheoght probably 60-70lb each! And when I have my dr's on I put my stockers up front as well...that's just what I think never had experience running someone with and without my 20's

It will make a difference but the biggest advantage will be from a dead stop. If you put those little skinnies up front combined with the DR's you would probably rape him even from a roll.

He's already making excuses afterwards saying it's just a [GT]350. Haha. Well done! You should have told him to replace his with a Chevy 350 and then it might be fast.
