Default Rumble Bee falls short!

So the other nite i cruise in to where a couple of street racers usually meet and theres two dudes and a chick there in a yellow Rumble Bee with a cowl hood and srt10 wheels and are complaining cause theres never no trucks tht come there to race except him. Lucky for him i speak up and say il run him. SO he agrees and looks my truck over and says yea he'll race me. My truck looks completely stock except for the the painted to match bowtie in the grille.

We get up to the line and dudes yells he wants to run from a 10mph kick cause he usually spins and i calmy agree. On the third horn blow he was no where to be seen i beat him by about 3 trucks. The dude seemed impresseed tht he got beat by a crew cab and wants to race again but this time from a dead stop and i only beat him by about 1 1/2 trucks considering we both spun. But the funny thing is the guy never came back he just kept driving i guess i hurt his feelings or he was too embarressed one. lol

Nice! what mods you have done?

i saw a reg cab hemi lowered with either 20's or 22's today but i couldnt make it through the light to catch up to him. I've always wondered if a reg cab hemi would get me or not.

What is the deal with the BB's anyway. What kind of package are they. I have one on my street that I never hear go much over idle speed as he goes by.
I live in a pretty redneck area and the guy has already put the Chris-Craft sounding duals on it. Blub,Blub,Blub,Blub,Blub,Blub,Blub,Blub.

It's basically just a bunch of extra money for some pin stripes and extra weight.

Edmunds
The Rumble Bee package costs $2,600 and adds either yellow or black exterior paint, a fake hood scoop, a body kit, a Rumble Bee stripe and graphic, a brushed aluminum fuel door, chrome exhaust tips and interior Rumble Bee badging (including yellow trim around the center stack and on each door). The rest of the truck's desirable features (the 345-hp Hemi, the 20-inch wheels, the in-dash CD player) all cost extra, and because our car had all of these features, its total price was $31,580 (about 10 times the cost of the original 1968 Super Bee — including the 426 Hemi engine option).

appearance only, just like the daytona, i think its cool for a retro kinda truck, should have put that effort into a car besides the only 4 door charger ever made, not to mention the ugliest since the 66-67's.......
