Default took out a nnbs

Coming home from work last night just doing the speed limit, no traffic in sight. A truck pulls right up on my rear with the brights on, I'm thinking wtf. I didnt want to be an *** and gas it because there was a couple cans in my bed and they fly out when the truck is hauling ***. He finally goes to pass me and revs it when he is on the side of me, a NNBS and he had at least dual exhaust. I started not to, but I said what the hell, passed my turn and went after him. Blew the trash out the bed, caught up to him and passed him and slowed down. He stomps hit, I wait until he is right next to me, I was going about 60, I hit it and proceed to put at least an 1/4 mile on him by 120 and I slow back down to 55. He stays back and I proceed home. This is with the lift and 33s on it, LOL. I would like to know what he was thinking after that.

May just be one of those "FREAK" trucks. There are some out there. May have a few bolt ons that we don't know about.

14.4 @ 95 with a 4.8 and 3.42s is incredible. Was that on slicks?

255/50/16 sumitomo street tires with stock aluminum wheels. Ask Wheatley, there are no other mods. It only ran that time once in good weather, it has ran a couple 14.5s, but averages 14.6 usually. The last tune Charlie did for me just woke this thing up, before it had good mid and upper power, on the last retune I told Charlie to give me everything he could down low, and thats what he did. It shifts so fast and crisp its crazy, and this is a stock tranny, no shift kit, servo, cooler, nothing. On the fast times though, there was no tailgate or spare or back seat, or rear bumper, it had a steel rollpan on it.

x2. i have a crew cab 4.8. no times but it runs damn good with the tune from wheatley.. all this talk about 4.8 not having any power, i still havent seen it with my truck.. it has some *****... the only thing i notice about the 4.8 is that your foot has to be in it most of the time anything below 2000 rpms.. dog!!! thats why i drive in 3rd if i am not going over 50. after 50 i put it in od.
