Walked a G35
#11
Sounds like it was a first gen VQ35DE coupe(and most likely automatic, take rate was 88%).... which is the slowest iteration of the G series ever produced(the coupe weighs 200-300 lbs over sedan because of heavier duty crash members in the doors and structural reinforcements).
-It makes 268 hp under the new SAE hp guidelines and has a 5-speed slushbox with a super tall 3rd gear..... They run high 14's and trap high 90's(on a good day) and run 0-60 in low-mid 6 second range.
-A new 7-speed auto G37 sedan run's mid-high 13's(average 13.7 @ 104-105 mph; the 6-speed manual averages 13.5-13.6 @ 104-105) Does 0-60 in 5.3 for auto, 5 flat for manual.
-HR G35 sedan run's mid-high 13's too(average 13.9 @ 102-103 mph for 5AT and 13.7-13.8 @ 103-104 for 6MT). Does 0-60 in 5.4 for auto and 5 flat for manual.
