(Update w/ vid) what might happen? '05 RCSB vs. '07 Altima 3.5 SE
Just wondering what might happen if...
My friends '05 RCSB with longtubes, exhaust, and tuning 14.7@94mph 2.2 60ft
VS.
My G/F '07 Altima 3.5L SE (stock)
here's some specs on the Nissan:
Power: 270 bhp @ 6000 rpm
Torque: 258 lb-ft @ 4400 rpm
Curb weight: 3366 lb
We've been tossing around the idea about who would win but we never got a chance to actually find out. both of us talk a lot of **** BTW...LOL!!! I have driven both vehicles, and I must say that my friends trucks does have a lot of power, but my G/F's car isnt too far behind. Im thinking it would be a good race since the truck has the power advantage but is handicapped by weight. The Altima on the other hand still makes power but weighs around 3500lbs with me in it. With the power/weight ratio the Altima should run about mid 14's on a given day and trap I would guess 96-99mph.
What do you guys think? Anyone ever had a chance to line up with one yet?

My mom has an 04 3.5 altima, and one day the exhaust clamp broke so it had a lil rumble. I was at a light beside a NBS Mustang GT with exhaust/intake and I **** stomped it.
I know Rustangs are slow but it could be a decent comparison point.

I find it hard to believe that a 3.5L Altima runs high 13s. I may be wrong, but I am gonna go ahead and call on that one.

You can call it all you want, maybe he wasn't giving it everything but he definitely had the rev's up. Maybe he slowed down and I didn't realize it. All I know is, I was in front of him the whole time.
