WS6 Ram air Vs. Silverado
One of my coworkers that I used work the same shift as me and that I used to race all the time in the early morning on the way to work traded in his 00 Camaro Z28 that had gears, exhaust, and intake for a mostly stock WS6. I raced him back when he had a 5.0 fox body and I had the 4.8 with a 100 shot and would beat him when I sprayed. When he got the Camaro, he would dust me, even when I did the 6.0 swap NA...at the time the 6.0 still needed a little work. I decided to catch up with him while he was on his way to work, now that my 6.0 is pretty much running about as good as it can and he now has the WS6. The only question is I was debating whether to spray the 125 shot or not which he does not know about. Just before I saw him drive by and caught up with him, I decided I would spray because I didnt want to chance losing NA and he said his WS6 feels faster than his camaro. To make a long story short, light goes green and I get a massive jump...like 2 plus cars so I let out thinking something was wrong, but then notice him comming up hard so I get back in it. When truck hits second, I push the majic button and I would say by 110mph, I had about 6 lengths with neither one of us pulling away or closing. so I let out. I will have to catch up with him at work to see what he has to say, but I know he was planning on getting a cam and heads package but wasnt sure...I think I helped him make up his mind.

Thanks, yeah, that car is defenately more lethal up top than his camaro was. Im having a few issues with KR in the lower rpms at 70% or so throttle, but never when I go directly to WOT which I cant do from a dig, thats another reason I didnt want to run him NA but think it might be false knock or something to do mechanicaly because my tuner and I cant get it figured out and pulling timing and trying different gas stations doesnt seem to help and I always run 93. When I get KR, Ill let out, and get back into it and it goes away, but kinda hard to do that in a race.
