I guess im getting by since i have the 3.42s and its keeping the rpm on the d-shaft down some

yeah im thinking the 3.42's are keeping you safe....

on the 2 piece driveshaft....anyone know what kind of truck i can get one from?

I have always wanted to race/out corner one. they are all about handling too right? good kill. I see them all the time. may try to get your stock shaft balanced.

oh idk if they have increased handling or not, dont keep up much with the imports. you should destroy one if you every see one on the street. i may have to get my driveshaft balanced...anyone know where to get that done at?

driveline shop. I had my stocker balanced at a big truck driveline shop. balanced to 3500rpm. if your close to san antonio, driveshaft specialists are down there, and they do a 6000 rpm high, high speed balance. i hear they are very good!

yes i am close to san antonio, i plan to go down there sometime soon to talk to allen at nelson performance so i might just have to stop by there and see what i can do about getting mine balanced

I think the guy said $80 to balance mine to 6000rpm. thats twice the RPM of any normal driveline shop. but I am 5 hours from S.A.

thats wonderful to hear, i was expecting to hear over a hundred bucks. to get them balanced, do you know how long it takes/does it have to be pulled off to get it balanced...but why are you going to get yours balanced, you shouldnt need to get yours balanced since you have a single cab.
