last week someone traded some 2x's off of an chrysler 300 for some blue center blocks. i was thinking about drilling and tapping a hole on one or 2 (the adjacent stud to keep things balanced) and putting a washer a hair larger than the thread so they cant get a deep socket or key removal tool on the lug. the washer would prevent that. secure the washer to the stud with a security screw. seems cheezy but i imagine the thieves would not be prepaired for some jerry rigging like that. anyway i will post pictures asap.
clint
I'd look on ebay, thats a big price for a factory take off wheel.

i never understood why anyone would drop $1000 for stock wheels. Nobody is going to look at your truck and be like, Whoa, that guy has nice wheels. They won't be able to tell the difference between those and the ones you've got now. Take that $1000 and buy you some nice chrome aftermarket wheels.

I seen the same rims on ebay a few weeks ago brand new with new stock tires( and yes they were the Gm brand) they were selling all four with tires for $500 free shipping, still your getting a good deal IMO
